Melissa Brandon earned her PhD in political communication from Colorado State University in 2023. Her dissertation focused on how gender-based media coverage effects voters' cognitive processes at the ballot box. Melissa holds a master's degree in communication from the University of Denver, and undergraduate degrees from Colorado State in journalism and political science.
Melissa brings together a unique set of communications experiences with a background in television journalism, non-profit television production, corporate communication, and academia.
